Washington Wild’s biggest fundraiser of the year, our annual auction Wild Night Out, will be back on Thursday September 28, 2017! The natural beauty of Washington’s wild lands and waters is one of the reasons so many of us choose to live, work, and play in the Pacific Northwest. Since 1979, Washington Wild and our supporters have played an invaluable role in permanently protecting nearly 3 million acres of Wilderness throughout Washington State. We look forward to continuing this legacy for future generations and this event is a large part of what makes our work possible – but we need your help!
Volunteers are a critical part of this evening’s success. We hope you’ll join us and enjoy beautiful views overlooking the Puget Sound at this year’s Wild Night Out as you give back to the wild places we all know and love in our state. We could not do it without you!
Volunteer Responsibilities:
*This is a comprehensive listing of volunteer duties. You will NOT be expected to perform all of these but will be assigned one or two tasks for the duration of the evening. We will hold a volunteer training specifically for the auction at a time in early September.
- Be Present from 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- If you cannot come directly at 4 pm that’s OK! Let us know what time you can be there and we’ll put you in a corresponding position
- Check-In
- Door Prize Ticket Sellers
- Silent Auction Monitoring
- Data Entry
- Back Room Organization
- Live Auction / Paddle Raise Spotters
- Runners tobring Auction Items Back and Forth
- Check Out
