The Fundraising Committee works in partnership with our Executive Director and a small group of fundraising consultants to plan and implement two events annual, The Walk for Kids and The Great Start Fundraising Breakfast. We also rely on support from this committee when preparing our annual appeal and other fundraising opportunities throughout the year.
Pike Market Child Care and Preschool ensures access to quality early learning and care, great nutrition and family support and parent education, by basing tuition on a sliding fee scale and by accepting state child care subsidies. Currently, 56% of families in our program are of very low, low or low toward middle income. We also provide tuition assistance to families of moderate income who are also priced out of quality child care experiences for their children and families.
