About The Healing Center
The Healing Center has a vision that one day, everyone will be able to move through their grief in a healing way. Together, with our partner and neighbors across the Greater Seattle area, we’re building a community where grief is honored and individuals can heal in their own way. Through a myriad of groups tailored to individuals’ different age groups and different stages of grief, participants are able to attend our groups as long as they need and we never turn anyone away for their inability to pay.
Project Information
We have a wonderful house in the Ravenna neighborhood where we offer our groups for adults and children. We need your help redesign our children’s program! We invite you to help us spruce up our children program areas with painting, assembling shelving and reorganizing program supplies. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers. Your work will make a positive impression on our community!

Location: The Healing Center, 6409 ½ Roosevelt Way NE, Seattle, WA 98115 (in the alley between Roosevelt WAY NE and 9Th Ave)
Parking: The Healing Center doesn’t have a parking lot. However, there is paid street parking and a park and ride less than 3 blocks from our location. The park and ride is located on the corner of 65th Street and 8th Ave NE.
