Join the fun at Magnuson Children's Garden, helping with simple stewardship tasks for all ages and abilities! Thousands of children and families visit this garden each year for free Family Garden Days and Classes, and as part of preschool programs, after-school programs, and summer camps. Your volunteering will help keep the garden thriving and beautiful!
Fall is a great time to plant new shrubs and perennials in the garden, to nip weed growth "in the bud", and to much paths and beds with wood chips before the winter rains begin. In addition, we'll be preparing for our annual Fall Festival in partnership with Magnuson Community Center. Your volunteering is vital to achieve all these goals. Hope to see you there!
This a family-friendly event, with gloves, tools, and refreshments provided for all adult and child volunteers. Children ages 6 and older are welcome to volunteer as long as they are with an accompanying adult who is age 18 or above.
