Do you love being outside? If getting down in the dirt is your thing, we have just the right opportunity for you! We will spend the morning removing invasive plants to make room for native plants that support our native birds and other wildlife. This event is kid-friendly, so bring the whole family!
What to bring: Come dressed to work outside (rain or shine) with sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle or coffee cup. We will provide tools, instruction, and work gloves.
Where to meet: This green space is located just off of Snoqualmie Parkway near Fisher Creek Playground and Ironwood Park on Greenridge Ct. Street parking is available nearby.
Youth volunteers: If you are under 18 and attending the event without a parent or guardian, please come to the event with a Youth Waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Please see the waiver attachment below.
Green Snoqualmie Partnership Vision: A city with healthy forests that provide high value habitat for wildlife and access for residents and visitors to experience nature, supported by an aware and engaged community that is working together to restore and care for these lands.
