Join the Green Kirkland Partnership with the restoration of Edith Moulton Park and help save beautiful mature conifer trees while protecting critical stream habitat on Juanita Creek!

Volunteers will spend the morning participating in restoration activities which may include removing non-native invasive plants like English ivy and Himalayan blackberry, spreading mulch over cleared areas, and planting native trees, shrubs and ground covers (Fall/Late Winter).

No experience necessary, all ages welcome and all tools provided!

What to bring:
* Closed Toed Shoes Required (ex: tennis shoes, sneakers or boots but no sandals)
* Clothes that can get dirty
* Rain gear, Warm Layers, Long Pants/Long Sleeves
* Full water bottle & Snacks
* Tools, training and gloves are provided

Where to meet:
Meet at the new picnic shelter on the west side of park on 108th Ave NE. Look for Green Kirkland signs to find the event.

Parking:
Street parking is available along 108th Ave NE

Youth Volunteering:
Volunteers age 14-17 attending the event without a parent or guardian must bring a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to the event with them. Volunteers younger than 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Directions:
Edith Moulton Park is located in the Juanita Neighborhood in northeast Kirkland. The park is approximately 10 minutes north of the Totem Lake commercial area and 10 minute south of UW Bothell on the western side of I-405.
