Description

Celebrate the season of renewal with restoration along the Green River! Join REI and Steward Chris to tackle Himalayan blackberry and bindweed that choke out young native plants. By freeing up space and light, we’re giving native trees and shrubs a chance to thrive—providing shade, filtering water, and strengthening salmon habitat.

Did you know? The Green River supports all five species of Pacific salmon, making it one of the most ecologically important rivers in King County.

All ages and skill levels are welcome. Tools, gloves, and guidance are provided—just bring your enthusiasm and a picnic to share riverside afterward.
