Volunteers Needed

Learn about native plants while volunteering at the King Conservation District Native Plant Nursery in Renton, WA! Volunteers are needed to help maintain plants and nursery operations all year long. Native plants grown at the nursery are used on restoration projects across King County. Volunteer activities include weeding, watering, divisions, transplanting, and general maintenance tasks. No experience needed! 

Where: Please register to receive exact directions. Nursery is located near SW Grady Way & Longacres Dr SW in Renton, WA 98057

When: Second Saturday and Third Friday of each month (specific dates will be listed on www.kingcd.org each month)

What to bring: All training, tools, and gloves will be provided. Please wear warm clothes that can get muddy, we will be outdoors for the entire event. Wear sturdy, closed toe shoes (rain boots, hiking boots, old tennis shoes). Bring a water bottle and mug for coffee/tea. Light refreshments will be provided.
