Description

Join King Conservation District and help restore the buffer habitat along May Creek, Issaquah, by planting native trees and shrubs. Fall Chinook has been reported to spawn and rear in this creek; other species also documented are Coho, sockeye, and winter steelhead. This restoration project will contribute to providing habitat for these endangered salmon species, as well as providing a continuous wildlife and habitat corridor, and providing surface water storage capacity. The exact location of the event will be provided after registration.

The event will be held outdoors, so please dress for the weather and wear clothes and closed-toe shoes/boots that you don’t mind getting wet and muddy.

Tools, gloves, water, hot beverages, and snacks will be provided. Please bring water bottle, travel mug, and lunch.

All ages and experience welcome!

Please note: Full registration for this event is done on a different website. Information regarding how to register for this event will be provided after you respond to this post. Thank you.
