The Board of Trustees of the Renton Historical Society is a 15-member group that provides fundraising, oversight, and outreach for the Renton History Museum. This dynamic group is involved in the implementation of our Museum Master Plan, as we move toward more innovative and creative programs and a closer connection with our community. Board members commit to three-year terms and have the opportunity to serve in leadership roles as officers and committee chairs. Attendance at monthly Board meetings is required (currently meeting over Zoom), and Board members are expected to contribute a reasonable annual cash gift. Time commitment is about 4-8 hours a month, depending on involvement.
