Description

Help us create a community green space under the power lines in the Duwamish River Valley. The Greenline is a partnership between Alleycat Acres, The Common Acre, and Seattle City Light. This restoration project works to increase pollinator habitat, create interactive green space, and grow native berries for our neighborhood. We've studied bees in this area for over three years, built soil and removed invasive species for two years, and now we are ready to do more...

Join us for a fun day of sheet mulching, soil building, and weeding to learn about native plants and pollinators. Come as you are, all ages and abilities are welcome. We'll provide all the tools and gloves and we'll also bring along some delicious hot food and beverages. Family friendly!
