It's time to step outside and do some good! :)
The Wetmore Community Farm transforms a dead end street in Rainier Valley into a thriving community farm. We are completing phase two of constructing the farm this summer, and beginning to plant in the completed areas. This farm will provide free produce to all who volunteer and to partners at Senior Housing Assistance Group, Downtown Emergency Services Center, and the Rainier Valley Food Bank.
We are looking for Volunteers at our urban farm to help us with:
- planting fall crops
- planting perennial and demonstration gardens
- weeding
- improving pathways
How will you benefit:
