Career & Opportunity Support volunteers will support the Opportunity Fair Participants.
Volunteers will:
- Help with any exhibitor materials and posting signage
- Greet and check-in employers and participants
- During the fair, provide direction and support for attendees and exhibitors
You will be connected with your volunteer lead approximately a week before the event, and they will work with you on assignment to a specific shift. If you are unable to lift boxes/tables, let your volunteer lead know and they can assign you a task w/out lifting. This role may be outdoors for volunteers supporting vendors in the parking lot and partially outdoors while loading the tables and supplies in/out of the buildin
Required Volunteer Orientation — January 6
All volunteers are asked to attend a Know Before You Go session on January 6 from 7:30–8:30 pm. This one-hour virtual orientation will cover important details to help you feel prepared for MLK Day of Service.
