Career & Opportunity Fair Set-up and Support volunteers will help load-in materials and set-up for a career and opportunity fair in Garfield's main building.
Volunteers will:
- load-in and set-up tables, chairs, exhibitor materials, and post signage
You will be connected with your volunteer lead approximately a week before the event, and they will work with you on assignment to a specific shift. If you are unable to lift boxes/tables, let your volunteer lead know and they can assign you a task w/out lifting. This role may be outdoors for volunteers supporting vendors in the parking lot and partially outdoors while loading the tables and supplies in/out of the building
Once your volunteer shift is done, you are welcome to join the march (to a location tbd w/ food). Information on workshops, job fair, rally, and youth event is updated regularly at www.seattlemlkcoalition.org #MLKSeattle
To ensure the safety of everyone at our events, we still encourage healthy practices such as staying home when sick, washing hands regularly, and listening to healthcare experts as new information becomes available.
