Eid is a Muslim holiday to celebrate the end of Ramadan. Each year SWYFS, Somali Family Task Force and other community partners invite our Muslim neighbors and friends to celebrate at the Delridge Community Center. Last year, over 200 people came together for food, music, henna and more. We need your help to make this event an even bigger success! We are expecting 250+ people to join us on Thursday, June 13th. We could use volunteers to serve food, lead kids activities, clean up and tear down. The tentative schedule of the day found below:
2:30 - 4:00 PM = Set up
4:00 - 5:00 PM = Guests arrive, Check-in support needed
5:00 - 7:30 PM = Foodservice, kids activities, and other event support needed
7:30 - 8:15 PM = Clean up
