The Kubota Garden nursery is the holding area and propagation area for the Kubota Garden Foundation's plant sale, and for plants to be planted in Kubota Garden. Join us Friday, May 31st from 10am-12pm to help us spread sawdust and heel in plants for the summer. The sawdust helps hold in moisture and insulate the plants for the hot dry summer.
We will provide all tools and gloves necessary. Come dressed for the weather and to get dirty. Wear sturdy footwear and bring a water bottle. We will provide snacks!
Meet us at the nursery, which is located on the south end of the garden. Walk up the maintenance road that is on the right just before the parking lot exit back on to 55th Ave.
