Description

Thursday, August 22
9AM-12PM
Meet at Entrance Plaza

Help harvest plums from the remnant plum orchard at Kubota Garden. We will spend the first portion of this event harvesting plums, and then the rest of the time canning plums and pressing apple cider.

If you would like to bring some apple cider home, bring a growler or other container to fill. Canned plums will be used by the Kubota Garden Foundation for volunteer snacks and at the annual membership meeting. This is a joint effort between the Seattle Parks and Recreation’s Urban Food Program and Kubota Garden Foundation.
