The EvergreenHealth 7 Hills of Kirkland is looking for volunteers! Support at ride start and finish at Kirkland's Marina Park, at support stops along the route in Kirkland, Redmond, Carnation, Duvall, and Snohomish, and support bikers are all needed. Volunteers get free rider registration for the following year!
The EvergreenHealth 7 Hills of Kirkland takes place Memorial Day each year, with riders biking a challenging century, metric century or 40 mile course beginning and ending at Kirkland's Marina Park. The event has been raising dollars for Attain Housing and their work with families facing homelessness for nearly two decades.
The classic route takes riders on a tour of urban and rural Eastside, on a holiday when cyclists seem to outnumber vehicles. The ride features a waterfront start and finish, challenging climbs, fun descents, bagpipers to cheer you on, and strawberry shortcake at the finish.
This event is a fundraiser for Attain Housing (formerly KITH), a 501c3 charity which assists individuals and families on the Eastside who are caught in a homelessness crisis. Whether people are living in their cars, housed temporarily in shelters, or facing eviction, Attain Housing will work with them as they stabilize their family in safe housing and work on goals to help them create a stronger future including finding and retaining permanent housing. Attain Housing cares and so do our wonderful cyclists.
