Great Backyard Bird Count and Restoration Work Party

Join Dirt Corps and Green Seattle Partnership to celebrate the Great Backyard Bird Count and help us care for this section of the West Duwamish Greenbelt. We'll be learning about this international 4-day citizen science event and the bird populations present in Westcrest Park, and then will have a chance to participate in the bird count with the group or individually (~15 minute activity). Once we're finished documenting our birds, we'll be caring for our restoration area by removing weeds (looking at you blackberry!) and applying mulch around the native plants and trees.
