Join Trees for Neighborhoods and Dirt Corps for our third tree care skill share and volunteer work party at Gateway Park North! We will learn how to plant trees and native shrub species, including live staking from our living willow sculptures!
This will be our concluding event at Gateway Park North of this year's Tree Care and Skill Share volunteer series, which offers a foundational toolkit for how to care for your own neighborhood trees and lend a hand to our city’s trees! All ages and skill levels are welcome! Please wear clothing that can get dirty, including long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toed shoes. We’ll be working rain or shine, so everyone is encouraged to dress for the weather and wear layers if you can. We’ll provide the tools, gloves, snacks, hot drinks, and water.
