Description

All are welcome to work with DIRT Corps to continue forest and wetland restoration on open space owned by King County. Part of our restoration effort is to remove invasive species. Learn what plants are harmful to the Pacific Northwest, as well as identify native plants which best suits our ecosystem. This knowledge can be taken and applied to anyone that wants to be familiar with restoration work, or as best practice for managing your own yard at home!

Point Rediscovery is beautiful to discover, and ecologically beneficial as well. This wetland houses part of Hamm Creek, a tributary to the Duwamish River that has salmon run every year. Let’s work together to restore this wetland and bring back the salmon!

Let us know if you have any questions. We Hope to see you there!
