Come celebrate Earth Day with Dirt Corps, Duwamish Alive Coalition, and fellow community members while helping to restore Seattle's one and only beloved river: the Duwamish! As a volunteer you will be helping with goose exclusion fence replacement, ivy and blackberry removal, and planting a bioswale - All to support the health of the native species and habitat we want to help thrive along the river!
Please arrive by 9:45am for registration, and the speakers at 10am, including a welcome from Duwamish Tribal Services. We recommend wearing long pants, long sleeves, and close-toed shoes. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Gloves, tools, and lunch will be provided, though feel free to bring your own work gloves if you have them.
