Paradise Parking Plots Community Garden, a project of World Relief Seattle, exists to empower refugees, immigrants, and the local community to improve food access, build relationships, and nurture economic independence. The garden additionally aims to mitigate its environmental impact through the incorporation of rain gardens and storm water catchment systems to ensure clean water enters the Puget Sound. Join us on MLK Day to tend to essential garden needs in preparation for spring. We will be mulching, removing invasive weeds, and managing compost.
