WHO ARE WE?

We are Nexus Youth and Families. We are a non-profit organization committed to ending youth and young adult homelessness and housing instability in the South King County region. We provide shelter services, chemical dependency and mental health counseling, and transitional housing programs to young people ages twelve to twenty four. We understand that success in our community begins with restoring hope, building futures, and offering safety and stability to those who need to most.

WHAT DO WE NEED?

Your help! As a non-profit organization we rely so heavily on the generosity of our community, both in the form of donations and volunteer efforts. For ‘The Home Shows’ we would love to bring both aspects of that generosity together in a site-wide donation overhaul.

Currently we have a basement full of donated items which need to be sorted, inventoried, and stored. The faster we have this finished, the faster we can begin providing these donations to clients.

We would love to see our volunteers bring their rock and roll attitudes to this project, and help Nexus Youth and Families bring joy to a young person in need.

We will provide snacks and refreshments, as well as cleaning supplies and trash bags / gloves.
