Will you join Allyship's Super Volunteers Team this year on October 7th 2018, 7th Annual Just Desserts Fall Fundraiser at Southside Commons?
Just Desserts is an event with 175+ guests, and represents our biggest fundraiser of the year. Just Desserts will highlight gourmet desserts from local restaurants and bakeries throughout the Pacific Northwest. All proceeds from Just Desserts will benefit Allyship’s programming to increase LGBTQ affordable housing and economic equity, build leadership in vulnerable LGBTQ communities and support community-led initiatives that increase the safety and well-being of LGBTQ individuals in Seattle and South King County.
This year the housing and LGBTQ champion Representative Nicole Macri of the 43rd District will be our Keynote speaker and Chad Goller-Sojourner as our featured artist. Goller-Sojourner is an accomplished LGBTQ writer and solo-performer and has been funded by the National Endowment for the Arts.
The event itself will be Sunday, October 7th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm (doors open at 6pm). We are proud to be returning to Southside Commons, 3518 S. Edmunds Street, Seattle, 98118 for the festivities.
How to become an volunteer of Just Desserts:
By becoming a volunteer, we ask you to help us spread the word by posting 3 times on your social media and spread the word inviting your network. We also ask for to join us on October 7th. In return, Allyship will include you in all of our press, social media, website and newsletters.
