Sustainable Renton has a large community garden where we grow food for our Farm Stand that offers organically grown produce on a pay-what-you-can pricing model. We offer educational workshops on topics pertaining to sustainable living practices for a minimal suggested donation price. Sustainable Renton believes in a sharing economy that fosters strong community relationships.
On MLK Day, volunteers will have the opportunity to work together to improve our community garden. Tasks include laying burlap and wood chips around the perimeter and on pathways throughout the garden, fixing the fence, revamping our compost system, and winterizing garden beds for the upcoming cold months!
