Growing Veterans is a veteran powered organization that works to reduce isolation that leads to suicide while working to make sustainable farming the norm. Volunteer days are Thursdays and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm. Saturdays will typically involve seeding and planting tasks, and Thursdays will typically involve harvesting tasks in June. Volunteers will help with life affirming acts of cultivating, irrigating, seeding, transplanting, and harvesting crops. It is recommended to have personal transportation. The farm is not on a public transit route.
