Medical receptionists at PSCC clinic sites facilitate a positive experience for everyone. They set-up the reception area prior to the start of the clinic, greet patients, collect donations, ensure that patient paperwork is completed correctly, enter new patient information into our EHR program, answer phones, schedule follow-up appointments, and more. Receptionist applicants should be organized, detailed oriented, friendly, work well with others, and possess basic computer skills.

Nurses provide nursing services to patients during clinic hours and assist with special events like health fairs and screenings in the community. RNs and LPNs are needed. All nurses must be licensed and have malpractice insurance.

We are looking for medical providers to volunteer at Puget Sound Christian Clinic. Medical providers include:

Physicians
Physician Assistants
Internists
Nurse Practitioners
Physical Therapists
Optometrists
Podiatrists
Nutritionists (Diabetic Education)

Medical and Specialty Providers provide primary health care during clinic hours. All providers must be licensed and have malpractice insurance.*
*Note: For licensed volunteers who do not have malpractice insurance, it is available free of charge through DOH. PSCC will assist our volunteer providers in obtaining this insurance. 

Patient schedulers ensure that our patients secure an appointment. Patients call a clinic phone number and leave a detailed message. Patient schedulers return these phone calls within 24 hours, screen patients for eligibility, ensure the care they are seeking is available at PSCC and then schedule the patient accordingly. These volunteers should have excellent phone skills, patience, and the ability to work with diverse populations over the phone.

We serve many patients that have specific language needs. Our translators help at clinics with reception, spiritual care, and medical translation during the medical appointments. Outside of clinic hours, translators are needed to assist with patient scheduling and translation of patient materials.

Mobile Clinic drivers should possess or be willing to obtain a class A or B Commercial Driver’s License. We are looking for volunteer drivers to take our mobile clinic out to our various sites and special events throughout the area.
