Volunteers will remove invasive plants and help establish native trees and shrubs, building a healthier forest and river corridor for salmon and people alike. Did you know? The Duwamish River—the lower stretch of the Green—was once lined with tidal marshes and forests, 97% of which have been lost to development. Your work helps restore vital habitat along this living river. All ages are encouraged to join! This is a fantastic opportunity for families and business groups to give back together.
