Who We Are
Our vision is to spread the pleasure of reading everywhere among children, youth and adults. We are a group of individuals who wanted to share the amazing books we have access to in the US. Saving them from landfills - we take gently used books, partner with local nonprofits in India and Nepal who work with children to share the Joy of Reading. We have over 100 libraries in schools purely made possible by the willingness to make a difference by thousands of wonderful human beings.
What We Do
Joy of Reading is a non-profit trust that provides books to schools, non-profits and communities to augment existing or setup new libraries.
