Three Little Pitties Rescue

Three Little Pitties Rescue is an all-breed dog and cat rescue located in Friendswood, TX.  Our mission is to create pathways to permanent, safe, and loving homes through adoption, transport, and spay and neuter services.

Since 2018, 3LP has saved over 11,000 dogs and cats from suffering through fostering, adoption, transport, and spay and neuter services. These animals are rescued from life on the street, abuse and neglect, and overcrowded shelters (euthanasia) in the greater Houston area. In addition to facilitating long term placement with carefully matched families, 3LP works with dozens of veterinary partners, shelters and other animal welfare organizations to conduct community education through regular “block walks,” free vaccinations clinics, and free spay and neuter events in underserved neighborhoods.  

Texas euthanizes 65,000 healthy animals every year.  We encourage our local supporters to go to the shelter and adopt, and we send our rescues to the Pacific Northwest and Canada.  Every three weeks our specially equipped, USDA certified semi transports between 100 and 150 dogs and cats directly into the arms of their new forever families in Washington, Oregon, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming and Idaho. Families from BC and Vancouver meet us over the border.
