Who We Are
The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations, providing programs for young people that build character. The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
What We Do
Chief Seattle Council is the local council governing the Boy Scouts of America activities in a large part of the Puget Sound and Seattle area, including almost all of the Olympic Peninsula. The council owns four resident camps used by scouts year-round: Camp Edward & Camp Pigott in Snohomish, Camp Sheppard in Enumclaw, and Camp Parsons in Brinnon.
