Who We Are
PAT: InterCultural Children & Family Services (ICCFS) Parents as Teachers is an evidenced based culturally responsive, early learning, strength-based home visiting program. We serve pregnant women and families of color with young children 0-3 years of age that are low-income, at-risk, child welfare and CPS involved who reside in South King County. PCP: InterCultural Children & Family Services (ICCFS) Parent Child Plus is an evidenced based home visiting program focusing on literacy and play. We serve African American, Native and Spanish speaking families in South King County with children 16-36 months of age.
What We Do
PAT & PCP programs are home visiting programs that use a trauma-focused, family-centered, and strength-based approach when working with families to provide early intervention and preventive services. In addition, we provide free educational culturally appropriate books and toys, support services, and referrals to community-based resources, in home services promoting child development, parent child interactions and literacy, family engagement encouraging reading, playing and increasing communication. We are committed to improving our services to children and families of color. Our goal is to end the cycle of poverty by providing parent
education and strengthening the parent/child relationship.
