Who We Are

SR3’s mission is to promote the health and welfare of marine wildlife in the Pacific Northwest.

With community support, we work to free whales from life-threatening entanglements, heal injured seals to return to the sea, and champion protections for endangered species.

The health of marine wildlife is closely linked with our own - and if we are to preserve a world worth living in tomorrow - these animals need our help today. Together, we will make the Pacific Northwest a safer and healthier home for marine animals - and for us all!

What We Do

From tiny injured seal pups to entangled humpback whales, SR3 rescues and protects marine wildlife in the Pacific Northwest.

Our nonprofit rescue and rehabilitation hospital delivers expert care to give suffering marine animals a second chance at a wild life. Through our scientific field research, including a special focus on the endangered Southern Resident killer whales, we also inform conservation actions important to the survival of vulnerable marine populations.
