The Journey Project

Who We Are

The Journey Project Reentry Program is a unique and compassionate organization that has been dedicated to the successful reintegration of individuals into society since its inception in 2011. What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to inclusivity and diversity. We take pride in being the only reentry program in the state of Washington that warmly welcomes and supports LGBTQ2+ individuals throughout their journey. Our organization is founded on the principles of equality, respect, and understanding, ensuring that all participants receive the support and resources they need to rebuild their lives. At the Journey Project, we are not only shaping brighter futures but also fostering a more inclusive and accepting community for all.

What We Do

We provide comprehensive support and resources, including employment assistance, education and skills training, housing support, and emotional well-being programs, to foster hope, self-sufficiency, and a renewed sense of purpose. As the only reentry program in Washington State that warmly welcomes and supports LGBTQ2+ individuals, we are committed to inclusivity and diversity. Our mission is to guide participants in transforming their lives and seamlessly integrating into the greater community by embracing personal responsibility and pursuing a positive, productive, and purpose-driven future.
