Who We Are
Serve Ethiopians Washington (SEW) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit established during the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic for the specific and primary purpose of reducing the negative health, social, and economic impacts of COVID-19 on Ethiopian and other East African refugee and immigrant communities in King County. In response to the changing needs in our communities following the lessening impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have broadened the scope of our programs to encompass a range of community needs. We recognize the importance of addressing these pressing issues to foster holistic well-being and resilience among individuals and families. Our programs now include the following key areas: Basic Needs Resources for Children and Families, Youth Development, Workforce Development, Environmental Protection and Sustainability, and Social Programs for Seniors.
