Resource Equity Association

We are the Resource Equity Association, an organization dedicated to advancing housing justice and generational wealth for Seattle’s African American community. Our work focuses on providing personalized support, fostering community engagement, advocating for equitable homeownership, and building partnerships to help families navigate financial and legal challenges.

Our organization is focusing on enhancing community engagement by partnering with established organizations to improve our outreach and visibility. We’ve shifted to providing intensive, individualized coaching to help families achieve their wealth-building goals, and we’ve strengthened partnerships with various stakeholders to support families in navigating financial and legal challenges. Additionally, we are raising awareness about legislative changes that promote equitable homeownership. Throughout this process, we’ve refined our methods to enhance efficiency and better serve the families involved, all with the aim of building sustainable wealth within Seattle's African American community.
