Who We Are
New Family Traditions is a 501c3 nonprofit organization in Seattle operating since 2008. We provide behavioral health services for low-income women and their children to break the generational cycle of addiction.

What We Do
New Traditions has provided outpatient substance use treatment services to low-income women and their families in Southwest Seattle since 2008. We are proud to be a leader in effective gender-based treatment in King County with an excellent reputation in the community to provide specialized care for Pregnant and Parenting Women. New Traditions is committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for women of different backgrounds and mainly serves Medicaid-eligible adult women.
Who We Serve:
- 90% of women are head of household with children under 17 years old
- 80% report co-occurring mental health issues and other medical complications
- 75% report a history of childhood trauma
- 70% are survivors of domestic violence, and
- 60% identify with BIPOC communities as their ethnic/cultural background
