Who We Are
The Green Redmond Partnership is building a sustainable network of healthy urban green spaces for the benefit and enjoyment of our entire city. Since 2009, 14,000 Green Redmond volunteers have dedicated, over 40,000 hours to plant over 15,000 trees almost 30,000 shrubs and groundcovers throughout 20 different Redmond parks.
The City of Redmond aims to build a strong culture of community stewardship, leadership and partnership to support healthy urban forests for everyone. Healthy forested parks and greenspaces have the power to strengthen neighborhoods, provide safe access to nature, and offer numerous valuable benefits to the environment. The goal of the Green Redmond Program is to implement Redmond's 20-year Forest Management Plan.
