CoolMom is Seattle, WA based nonprofit organization that unites moms and families to take action on climate change through education, lifestyle change and advocacy. Our vision is a healthy planet for kids and families.

CoolMom is the only Washington State nonprofit focused on reducing carbon footprints AND growing new female climate leaders. CoolMom engages moms and families to be part of the climate solution by introducing simple ways for families to reduce our carbon footprints?like walking or bicycling to school, turning off engines while waiting to pick up kids, or packing low-waste lunches. When we take personal responsibility for reducing our carbon footprints, we feel empowered to insist that the largest polluters--like Big Oil and coal?do the same. And this leads to advocacy. CoolMom is the only Washington State organization focused on growing new female climate leaders. Get ready as CoolMom prepares to unleash a full-fledged female climate movement, a movement which insists that the fossil fuel industry reduce its carbon emissions?and pay the cost of cleaning up our air?now!
