Multi-Service Center

Who We Are

Multi-Service Center (MSC) is a Community Action Agency committed to its mission of uplifting communities by increasing equitable access to advocacy, opportunity, and well-being. MSC was formed in 1971 by a concerned grass-root group of local citizens in Federal Way. It has grown from a tiny volunteer group to an agency that serves over 111,000 annually, employs a staff of 100+ and a volunteer force of over 500.

What We Do

Through Multi-Service Center, individuals and families throughout South King County receive the support and resources they need to build pathways out of poverty. The agency offers multiple services, such as housing and rental assistance, food, energy assistance, employment resources, and education support. In addition, the agency operates the state-wide Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, providing trained and certified advocates for the elderly and disabled living in long-term care facilities across Washington State. MSC serves people living in 19 cities throughout South King County.
