Who We Are
We empower our Asian community through a continuum of exceptional health care services that are culturally sensitive. In 1975, Issei Concerns is formed and opened Seattle Keiro Nursing Home in 1976. We opened Kokoro Kai Adult Day Program in 1978 then change name to Nikkei Concerns in 1980. In 1990 Nikkei Horizons' Continuing Education program is launched, then Nikkei Manor Assisted Living Facility opened 1998. We just changed our organization name from Nikkei Concerns to Keiro Northwest in 2016. Keiro means respect elderly in Japanese.
What We Do
As a leading provider of health and wellness services in the Pacific Northwest, we embrace an increasingly diverse community while honoring our Japanese American heritage and history. We are here to provide you and your family members with the compassion and respect you deserve. We operate seven high-quality programs to serve the many needs of older adults and their families: Keiro Northwest Home Care, the Rehabilitation and Care Center, Catering, Nikkei Manor assisted living community, Kokoro Kai senior activity program, Nikkei Horizons continuing education, and Transportation Services.
