Board Treasurer / Board Member Opportunity
Keiro Northwest – Seattle, Washington (Volunteer)
Keiro Northwest is seeking mission-driven individuals to join our Board of Directors and help guide the future of our organization as we continue to serve older adults, families, and our broader community through culturally responsive programs, education, philanthropy, and senior services rooted in Japanese American heritage.
At this time, we have a particular need for candidates with financial leadership experience who may be interested in serving as Treasurer and supporting our Finance Committee.
Ideal candidates may have experience in:
• Accounting, finance, banking, investment management, or nonprofit financial oversight
• Budgeting, financial reporting, audit, compliance, or governance
• Strategic planning, philanthropy, or community leadership
• A passion for elder care, cultural preservation, and community service
Board members help provide strategic oversight, fiduciary stewardship, and community leadership as Keiro Northwest continues to evolve and expand its impact across generations.
Commitment includes:
• Regular board meetings (currently monthly)
• Committee leadership (Finance Committee)/ Committee participation for general board membership
• Meaningful engagement in the organization’s mission and long-term sustainabilityIndividuals from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds are encouraged to inquire.
