Tavon Learning Center

At Tavon Learning Center, we believe everyone deserves the chance to learn and thrive. That's why we provide a post-high school education solution - active learning and community programs - that builds better lives for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. Our learning experience is a unique combination of real-life practice, peer coaching, outdoor gardens, and community building. With the outcome focus of social development, life skills, and community building, participants grow confidence and develop skills to increase their independence. The center has a nature-rich campus with 6-acres of outdoor gardens and forested trails.

Tavon Learning Center aims to empower our members in communicating their needs, help them to grow social skills used to build friendships and make community connections, encourage personal wellness, and develop new abilities and interests.

We use an experiential-based learning method supported by peer coaching from staff in all of our programs.
