Our dedicated and caring volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.
A listening ear, sharing conversation over coffee, being a supportive presence, celebrating holidays and special events, and assisting staff with outings and weekly activities. It’s the little things that matter.
At Bailey-Boushay House, residents and clients find staff and volunteers who truly care; and an environment that nurtures each individual.
Seeking to fill equity gaps, and using a trauma informed care lens, our programs are designed to meet the complex needs of our clients and residents, and help them live with dignity.
We are looking for volunteers who have a desire to make a difference in the lives of those with HIV/AIDS and other life altering illnesses.
We ask that volunteers assess their life and their schedules to determine of they can make the minimum requirement of 100 hours, choosing one consistent 4-hour shift each week (the average length of time to meet this minimum is 6-8 months).
