Who We Are

When we strengthen families—we all benefit. A family is a child’s first teacher, the foundation for a healthy life, and the cornerstone of our communities. That's why after more than a century of working on behalf of children, Children’s Home Society of Washington (CHSW) is committed to deepening our work with families across Washington state.

We envision stronger families and thriving communities across our state, but we will only get there with a model of support that not only helps families move through a crisis, but prevents them from entering one.

The Family Success Hub Model will help us realize this vision through a major investment over the next five years in tailored, culturally-responsive hubs across the state that integrate CHSW’s signature services with community partnerships, bringing all the resources families need to one place.

What We Do

As Washington's largest statewide children's nonprofit, CHSW delivers comprehensive services through seven regional offices and 18 service sites throughout Washington State. King County sites include North Seattle Family Resource Center, South King County Family Resource Center, Genesee Early Learning Center, Highline Early Learning Center, as well as other program and administrative sites.
