Banchero Disability Partners

Who We Are

Banchero Disability Partners empowers adults with developmental disabilities so that they may realize their potential, achieve their goals and be active and contributing members in their communities. Together we promote equitable civil rights. Banchero Disability Partners, organized in 1971 as Friends Services, was one of the very first children?s group homes in the State of Washington. The founders rented a home and created a family atmosphere for the previously institutionalized children. The agency settled in Shoreline in 1979, and changed its name to Banchero Friends Services after Mr. John Banchero donated a permanent home for the children. In 1991, with many of our clients transitioning into adulthood, we became an adult?s supported living agency. Today Banchero Disability Partners provides daily supported living services, case management and extended programs to about 27 adults living in Shoreline and north Seattle.

Many of our clients to join sports programs, attend classes and cultural events, and volunteer in the community.
