New Beginnings, Ending Domestic Violence

New Beginnings supports Seattle residents 18 and over experiencing intimate partner abuse ranging from emotional to physical abuse. Founded in 1976, New Beginnings is Seattle's largest and oldest domestic violence service provider. In addition to direct services, New Beginnings educates middle school and high school-age students on dating violence and healthy relationships.

New Beginnings provides transitional housing, support groups, therapy, and legal help to women and men experiencing abuse. Counseling and support groups are also provided to children who have witnessed or experienced domestic abuse.
