Who We Are
SESSC is a nonprofit multi service senior center serving people over 50 years with a variety of programs, services and opportunities for volunteering. It is a place for older adults to gather for fun, fitness, assistance, and learning. Our mission is to promote the health and well-being of boomers and beyond. We are proud to welcome everyone. SESSC was started as Lee House in 1961. It moved to its present location in 1986.
What We Do
SESSC is a nonprofit multiservice center that serves older adults so that they can live independently. We are a vibrant and active daytime activities center, providing an array of services and activities, including yoga, weaving, computer classes, dance and Enhanced Fitness. We serve scratch-cooked lunch every day we are open. Programs offered are fitness, lifelong learning, trips, games, lunch, health and social services and civic engagement. We serve over 2000 individuals a year.
