Who We Are

Habitat for Humanity of Seattle-King County is a non-profit organization whose vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. We build hope for all, by tearing down barriers to affordable housing. Habitat for Humanity brings people together to achieve a common goal of strengthening communities through building safe, sustainable, and affordable housing for members and families within our community.

What We Do

Habitat for Humanity of Seattle-King County works to eliminate substandard housing through constructing, renovating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.

We welcome all volunteers, of any skill level, who want to make a positive and lasting impact. We currently have three ongoing volunteer opportunities: Volunteers can support our families by assisting Homeowner Services in selecting and supporting our current and prospective families, help us Build Homes on our current construction sites, or help in our Habitat Stores by assisting costumers and organizing incoming donations.
